how we wear vintage | classic black & red

Today’s vintage style post features Jack’s little sister — far and away one of the classiest dressers we know, and pretty cute, to boot. This outfit is from last Sunday. She looked so fabulous I press-ganged her [sweetly, of course] into letting me snap a few photos.

Esther’s outfit mixes true vintage [vintage 60s dress] with modern vintage-inspired elements: cardigan, heels, hair flower.

She crocheted the beret herself. Did I mention she’s marvelously talented?

Hope y’all are having a lovely week, friends.

Beautiful and classy! Oh, and if it is not a closely guarded secret, what pattern did Esther use for her beret?

I’m enjoying your blog posts, keep them coming!

    Hello Annie,
I actually didn’t use a pattern. I went looking for one and couldn’t find one so I made one up as I went, the upside to doing it like that is that there’ll never be one exactly like it again. But it also means that there is a lot of ripping out that happens before you get it the way you want it. 🙂

So Sorry that I couldn’t be of more assistance to you!
